"Incredibly beautiful lodge close to the lake and in a very secluded location. The road is long and bumpy to get there, but that just adds to the charm! Rooms and facilities are lovely and comfortable. And staff is incredibile!"

"Rose and the rest of the staff - they couldn’t do more to help and to make our stay the best! The place is in lovely old-style buildings with beautifully furnished rooms in a peaceful location. We loved the short cycle on complementary bikes to West Bay for the sunsets."

"The host, Andrae was super friendly and helpful, I was able to check in a bit late, he also organised an early morning taxi for me to get to the airport. The location is great, right in the middle of Philipsburg and just minutes walk from the beach. You're surrounded by restaurants and shops. Price was excellent."

Room and amenities are simple, but for this price and location you can't complain.

The room was really spacious and beautifully decorated. Also loved the outdoor shower! The highlight is definitely the swimming pool, which can be enjoyed at all times of the day thanks to the shade from the trees. The landscaping has been so well thought out. It truly felt like a little bit of luxury staying here and we loved it!"

The room was really spacious and beautifully decorated. Also loved the outdoor shower! "I have visited many hotels and villas and I must say this was the most cleanest place I have ever been! The hoast was very warm and welcoming, the room was very clean and warm. I will deffinitely say that it is well located and very close to the sea."

"Lovely breakfast with homemade bread, delicius. Beautiful houses and seaside view. Very friendly staff. The room was simple but comfortable with an extra heater in it."

Thin walls. There were noises from other people in the corridor/bathrooms/doors. The room could use a little decoration for cozier feeling.

"Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Kleines praktisches Zimmer mit kleinem Badezimmer(chen) zu einem angemessenen Preis. Bei Buchung wurde auf das kleine Badezimmer hingewiesen. Sehr bequemes Bett mit offenen Bettende und guter Matratze. Sehr ruhig. Frühstück mit verschiedener Wurst, Käse und Marmeladen und Gebäck. Vermieterin sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich."

Das kleine Badezimmer(chen) ist wirklich sehr klein. Ist aber kein Kritikpunkt, weil es wurde bei der Buchung schon drauf hingewiesen.

It was a bit cold in the room even with the radiators turned all the way up, luckily there were two blankets so I still got a great night sleep!
