"Ein außergewöhnliches und unvergessliches Karibikerlebnis! Absolut zu empfehlen! Der Gastgeber Franck ist sehr nett und er erklärt auch wunderbar die Handhabung des Dingis, so dass man auch jederzeit an Land gehen kann. Möchte man aber bei so einem paradiesischen Hausboot gar nicht :-). Mehr Karibik geht nicht!"

"ドナウ川に浮かぶボートホテルで普段体験できない「水上宿泊」を楽しむことができました。ウィーンからバスで移動したのですが、バスターミナルからも近く移動が楽でした。チェックイン時間前でしたが荷物も快く預かっていただけて大変良かったです。"

設備が少し古く感じました。シャワーブースも少し狭いです。道路沿いなので外の騒音も聞こえます。音が気になる方は注意した方が良いかもしれません。

"This was a quirky stay that we enjoyed very much."

We were in a separate boat, a couple of hundred metres away from main boat - this isn't a complaint but it is just that this wasn't clear to us when we booked. Check it out before you stay.

"Our stay on the Yathra Houseboat will always stay in our minds and hearts. This is our second time within 3 years. We had a vacation of our life with all the comfort and pampering by the staff on the boat. The cruise on the river provided rare glimpse of few exotic birds and a large group of monkeys. The narrations by the Manager of the Dedduwa Boat House about those birds were very informative. The Skipper was kind enough to stop along the river bank to watch the birds closely and take photographs. The candle-lit dinner and the night spend on the upper deck was simply magical. The next day my husband even managed catch some fish while cruising. The staff arranged them to be prepared for our lunch and that dish was out of this world. The staff went an extra mile to make us happy. The bedrooms and the facilities on board were above standard. This is the best destination we spend while in Sri Lanka. Keep it up Yathra and we will back again next year."

"Great peaceful location with a beautiful view. Staying on this yacht with a caracter was really unique experience. The host was very nice. Parking in front of the marina was convenient."

"Very handy location. Boat well appointed with everything you could need: toilet, small shower, galley with all facilities (except a wooden spoon!). Bed comfortable with cosy bedding. Lounge and dining areas separate with a good amount of room, for two at least."

Being a bit inexperienced at staying on boats it took us a while to fine tune the way we used things but hey, life’s a learning experience. Hot water did run out but easily overcome and, with a bit of communication, eventually fixed up. It’s a boat, not a 5 star Hilton; these things happen.

"ハウスボートを体験してみたかったこともあり、秘密基地のような楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。特に朝食時のクルーズは最高です。泊まった部屋は期待していた電源もあり、窓から川が眺められ暖房も調度よかったです。身長が低いためベッドの登り降りは苦労しました:)⁠　設備は古いですが清潔です。今回嵐で騒音がひどくて寝れない日があったり、急遽漂着場所が変更になったりと大変なこともありましたが、それもいい思い出です。もしかすると事前に連絡した私の予定に合わせて一部クルーズの出航予定を変更してくれたかもしれません。スタッフの方がとても親切でした。貴重な体験をありがとうございました！"

シャワールームが想定より簡易的でした。嵐の時ですが、下水臭が少し気になりました。気にされる方は対策していくといいと思います。
