"Location was perfect - 50 feet from the water in the heart of Hopkins Village - away from resorts and other tourists. Right next door to a locally owned Garifuna restaurant. The family made our trip with cultural drumming, singing, and dancing each night and we booked a fishing trip with them - hand lining for snapper that was then cooked for us the next 2 nights - epic! Stay here for the true experience of Hopkins. Beds were super comfortable, huge bathroom with hot water, and mini fridge were perfect. Super convenient with bikes provided to ride around the area, close to mainland things to do (cockscomb basin, chocolate tour), and stores for water and snacks."

"Fabulous location and the staff went out of their way to fix the AC when it broke. The kitchen was great allowing full self catering. Loved the bongo drums from the beach cafe next door and watching the young kids practice their moves"

"La chambre spacieuse et le grand lit 🛌"

"Les sargasses sur la plage donc impossible de se mettre sur un transat pour bronzer a cause de l'odeur ou de se baigner. Cela est dommage que le gouvernement ne fasse rien car dans l'avenir il y aura de plus en plus de Sargasses. Au Mexique les hôtels ramassent les sargasses le matin sur les plages pour les touristes mais pas au Belize."

"From my point of view, I found the best location and very comfortable accommodation here. The very nice owners of the apartments, Herbert and Simone, will give you valuable advice and answers to all your questions. You are surrounded by the silence of a beautiful garden, watching birds and small wild animals. It takes 5-7 minutes to walk to the beautiful ocean shore, where you will practically be alone. The apartment has absolutely everything for relaxing, cooking, and surfing the Internet."

"The apartment was really big and having the pool was great while also being able to swim off the dock. We didn’t get to use the kayaks because the current was too strong but nice to have the option. You can walk to a small limited shop (and even to a bigger one further up the road if you don’t want to hire a buggy) and 4 restaurants are within walking distance. Nice that boats pick you up from the dock and nice being out of the main town. Only a short taxi ride from the ferry dock. You can walk to a centre within 4 minutes to book trips"

"This place was stunning! You are right in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by beautiful flowers, birds and butterflies There are fire pits to sit around in the evening, the creek to swim in, and hiking trails to explore. You can also book to have a guide take you on a night hike to see what animals you might encounter. The room was beautifully made up, with fresh cut flowers decorating the bed. I had the best nights sleep, drifting off to the sounds of the jungle"

"We very much enjoyed our stay here. The owner was friendly and helpfull. The breaksfast (different every day usually with beans, eggs and fruit. Big portions) and dinner (buffet style, plenty of choice of vegan and non vegan local dishes) were also nice. The showers work properly and give a feeling that you are showering outdoors. There are some nice short walks you can do from the resort. Make sure to bring anti mosquito stuff. The best part of the lodge are of course the dogs. They are so friendly and polite and love receiving pets and cuddles."
