"The mosquitos were awful. A week later and I am still itching. You also could not swim in the beach because of all the sargassum. Margaritaville had it worse than any beach around. The smell was awful. One of the pools needed to be cleaned from the lizards pooping everywhere."

"The hotel is a bit far away from airport, and there are only 2 boats a day that go to and from San Pedro. If the time of the boat doesn't work for your flight, you have to either wait a long time, or pay for a pretty uncomfortable and long (like 1+ hour) taxi ride"

"The room was very clean & comfortable beds, good WiFi, extremely friendly staff. Jose, and his bother , Ken and Barry were very helpful with any request we made. The food in the restaurant was so good! Lots of amenities so you really don’t have to leave the hotel if you don’t want to. They had a sunset cruise, snorkeling and kayaks to name a few. Beautiful dock!"

"The hotel is a little far from downtown if you plan to do a lot in San Pedro. If you want the seclusion then it’s perfect. If you plan to do a lot in San Pedro they do have a boat that leaves in the morning and does an afternoon pick up or you can rent a golf cart. The golf cart ride is about 50 mins ( it can be apart of the adventure plenty of places to stop and check out)"
