"We loved the warm welcome, the quiet, comfortable room, the location, most of all we loved the people. Rene and his family made us feel at home. They are beautiful people who offer a special experience in their home just a hop, step and jump from nearly everything we wanted to see in Valpo. Rene communicates well before and during the stay, and provides excellent information and advice. We had wonderful chats about all sorts of things! Nonita (Rene’s mum) is delightful and we had some (thanks Google Translate) lovely chats with her too. Carolina and the girls are also lovely and make space for their guests. All in all, a most enjoyable stay."

"The payment arrangements are unnecessarily complicated and an outlier for homestay accommodation. It took too much effort to pay. This was not my experience with other properties in Chile on Indeed elsewhere"
"I was at this Hostel 3 years ago and I had to return. René, the host, invests a lot of time to make every traveler happy - with tips around Valparaiso - and beyond. I am sure he knows everything about Chile ;-) He even has a whiteboard in the kitchen to better explain things. Breakfast is very good, laundry service, location is perfect in the heart of the touristic area. If you are lucky you will spend an evening with René and some Pisco Sours as well in the hostel. I've been in many hotels, hostels, B&Bs etc at many places in the world. - this one is the very best."

"This B&B is very well located and the host, René and his family, are very nice. René provided us with a lot of information on Valparaiso and how to get around the city to get the most out of it. All of his recommendations were great. The breakfast was very complete and good, and we learnt how to make great pisco! We had a great stay there!"

"Perfect location in the middle of the historical UNESCO area. B&B owner René is host as well as a perfect guide, he takes time to inform you with really insiders information. We planned to stay for two nights and ended up for 5 nights, because of the perfect atmosphere. And for travellers: they do laundry service as well!!"

"Wonderfull breakfast with homemade multi cereal bread and homemade yoghurt. This is a real Homey place near all the things to see with a good selection of restaurants and bars nearby. The laundry service at Rene and family is very convenient and excellent! Xxx"
