Si le logement en lui-même appelle déjà à la sérénité, Armando propose également de faire découvrir sa culture dans ce qu'elle a a de plus authentique. C'est un hôte adorable, flexible et qui s'adapte aux envies de chacun avec aisance. Chaque soir j'ai eu le privilège de lire une histoire Bribri et d'échanger avec Armando sur sa signification culturelle. De grands moments d'échanges et de partage qui resteront à jamais gravés dans ma mémoire. Un immense merci encore"

"Wir verbrachten drei wunderbare Nächte in Suretka. Armando zeigte und erklärte uns ausführlich das Leben und die Kultur der Bribri und führte uns zu tollen Orten. Wir schliefen in der Zeit auch in einem Homestay bei Armandos Großeltern. Sie Unterkünfte sind sehr einfach, aber sauber und gemütlich. Wer allerdings Luxus sucht ist hier fehl am Platz. Uns hat es gerade deshalb hier so gut gefallen. Abseits vom Trubel mit einem Guide, der uns Einblicke in das wirkliche Leben der hier lebenden Menschen gab."
"Die Bribri sind Puristen und würzen ihre Speisen nicht. Das war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Dafür entdeckten wir den puren Geschmack von Yucca und Palmherzen bei Armandos Großeltern."

"Experiencia de inmersión en la cultura bribri. Armando es una persona que se preocupa personalmente de sus huéspedes. Nos enseñó muchísimo sobre la comunidad brirbri. Sin adornos, sin shows. Desde el corazón de una persona apasionada por su cultura. Fueron horas de charlas, historia, aprendizaje. Posibilidad de Tours para el otro lado del río. Muy recomendable muy auténtico y completo. Además más barato que todos los tours que se ofrecen en la zona. Una experiencia de concienciación, de contacto con la naturaleza, de reflexión. Alojamiento: Remanso de paz. Muy limpio enmedio de la naturaleza pero no hay mosquitos. Cerca de un pueblito muy auténtico. Cama muy cómoda, dormí 9 horas cada día. Ofrecen servicio de comida buenisima relación calidad/precio."

The owner is super nice and helpful, it's walking distance to the beach, options for food around, although keep in mind that at the closest entrance you have to pay to enter even in the evenings. The other entrance you don't have to, but it's a longer walk. Wifi and aircon works good."

"An absolutely fantastic villa. The photos on Booking.com really do not do this place justice — the villa is much larger than it appears online. You have everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the surrounding nature is simply stunning. Be prepared to wake up to howler monkeys and to see toucans and macaws flying overhead — it truly feels like being in the middle of a nature documentary. Despite it not being mentioned in the listing, the villa does have free WiFi and it’s excellent, which was a very pleasant surprise. The host, Gustavo, was very helpful and responsive. This place is a true gem and an absolute must if you are staying in Uvita."
