"We had an amazing time over New Year. Special thanks to Jaime for his hospitality. He makes everyone feel welcome and is also an superb cook. King II which we booked was just amazing: super large, equipped with proper furniture plus a big bathroom. And the view from the balcony was unbeatable. Breakfasts were tasty and filled us up for the day exploring nearby beaches. An unexpected extra was the cave on the property"

"Be prepared for a super steep road and last 100 meter dirt road, which was a challenge for our super old rental car. No WiFi which was rather a plus for us (but good mobile connection)"

"Comfortable stay on a beautiful spot. Close to very pretty beaches. The castle is an ambitious project to create a very original Italy like stay in the Dominican Republic. Jhaime is a very attentive host and a very good cook. The food was amazing."

"El Castillo is located in an incredible spot in Las Galeras, with a beautiful view of the bay. The rooms are comfortable, and the area is very quiet yet still very close to town. Definitely recommended!"

"The house was very good, clean, and a lot of open spaces for entertainment purposes for a big reunion. Me and my family had a great time at this property. It's like 25 minutes walking from the beautiful beach " playa chiquita", and like 20 minutes walking to a great restaurant " la cocina de Yanet", but in car is not so far to go to supermarket or other beaches. Also we had some problems with the air conditioning and the refrigerator but they sent a handyman immediately to fix the problem. We really enjoyed it!!!!"

"Food was good, majority of staff was friendly and helpful. Especially receptionist Michael. Nice surprise was that room service and minibar included in all inclusive option. Room was large and refurbished. It was no problem with the sunbeds on the beach. Overall hotel and stay was good. But would not rate it as a 5*"
