Hotel Immalanjärvi is set in a historic 1930s building, formerly a military medical unit. We preserve the authentic, ascetic style of Finnish functionalism with a focus on spotless cleanliness and a quiet atmosphere. Set a 10-minute drive from central Imatra, this guest house offers free parking, an outdoor BBQ area and direct access to bicycle paths and ski tracks. Imatra Spa Resort is a 20-minute drive away. Free WiFi is available. The basic rooms at Immalanjärvi include a flat-screen TV, wardrobe and small fridge, as well as bed linen and towels. The property offers shared toilet and shower facilities. There is also a convenient drying cabinet available for ski and outdoor gear, as well as a washing machine for guests' use. "I've stayed at Immalanjärvi years before, and the hotel was still well kept, tidy and excellent value for money. The premises were a bit worn out, but very tidy. I've stayed so many places all over the world, and Immalanjärvi is definitely one of the best value for money I've ever had! Also very quiet ❤️"

"The hotel is ex army hospital, built in 1937. It is clean and in good condition. The building includes many authentic architectural details like floor tiles, lamps, doors, kitchen cupboards etc. No breakfast service, but good self-service kitchen. A small supermarket is in walking distance."

"The place was clean and very quiet and peaceful. The Kitchen was spacious and had all the needed appliances. Beds were queen size and a TV and a good sized fridge were there in the room. The toilet and showers were clean and working but a bit old. The host accommodated our request for an early check in, by three hours, which we appreciated a lot."

"12月末に訪れ年越しまで滞在しました。北極圏に行ってみようと思い立ち、ヘルシンキから車を運転して行きました。ロヴァニエミやサーリセルカなど有名な町はありますが、我々にとっては宿泊費が非常に高いです。そこでブオツォという小さな集落にあるこの宿泊施設を見つけ、写真等で判断して予約しましたがこれは正解でした。まず、オーロラを見ようとすると前述の町は明るいので、結局ツアー等に参加する必要が生まれるのではないかと思いますが、ブオツォは街灯が少なくホテルの周りは森であり、敷地内ですぐ観測できます。宿のご主人夫婦は親切です。サウナ小屋や焚火小屋(バーベキュー可)などを利用させていただきました。サウナは一人10ユーロでした。薪を熱源とした本物サウナで、「温まったら外に出て雪に飛び込め」と言われ、実際にそのようにしました。施設の利用についてはオーナーから積極的に売り込んでくることはないので、黙っていたら何も起こらないと思います。コミュニケーションをとっていってください。買い物は集落に小さなマーケットがありました。大きなスーパーはサーリセルカまで行くことになります(自動車で一時間かかります)。なお隣のタンカヴァーラ村まで行くと、レストランがあります。いずれにしても自動車での移動が必須ですので、この条件に合う旅行者には強くお勧めします。"
