"We received a warm and friendly welcome from the lady who spoke very good English. The location, building, room and communal area including cooking facilities were all excellent. Secure parking for bikes. The house is in a very quiet location with free range chickens, geese and deer. A lovely small town with lots of bars, restaurants, shops and fuel stations."

"A wonderful overnight stop on our way down to Spain. Fabulous setting in woodland, delicious food, a comfy room and a welcoming host. We were exhausted when we arrived but left refreshed and feeling we’d been on holiday for ages!"

"The accommodation was spotless. The immediate surroundings were very tranquil with a short woodland walk. The building and gardens were lovely. Great setting for the good breakfast provided. The host was very helpful and booked a meal for us."

"We were asked what we would like and she provided all of it plus more. Fresh warm croissants, delicious food. Lovely jam , cheese and baguette. The host was very helpful as I’m a bit disabled, she gave me the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. What a peaceful place to stay. I highly recommend it."
