Situated in Anglet, between Biarritz and Bayonne, this hotel offers direct access to one of the most beautiful beaches of the Basque Coast. The hotel is located near Chiberta Golf Club. All guests have access to the Club Fitness. At an extra cost, guests can also access Le Lagon, with an indoor and outdoor heated and sea water swimming pool with bubble bath beds, counter current corridor, jet stream, sauna, hamman, solarium and hot tub. The Gulf Stream restaurant specialises in low-calorie recipes and traditional French dishes. Guests can also enjoy a seafood buffet once a week, served on the terrace. La Bodega bar serves tapas. Numerous excursions and walks are organised at Atlanthal each week for exploring the Basque region.

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean. Private balcony with chairs and a table. Very close to beautiful, long beach. Our room was facing North and was nice and cool despite the heat outside. Large shower room. Spacious room. Sitting area with comfortable armchairs. Access to outdoor swimming pool and spa facilities. Free gym. Most important: fantastic large, firm, comfortable bed!!! Nice ocean view from the restaurant partially obstructed by dunes. Massive Tv set with very limited number of English channels however you don't go there to watch tv. Very good access to shuttle bus to Biarritz town centre."
"Lack of bathrobes and slippers. Understaffed breakfast. Very limited selection of food. Cold or lack of scrambled eggs. Poor selection of bread and baguettes considering it is France! Far away from any shops. Generally the room is quiet unless your neighbour above you ware high heels. Quite expensive taxi considering short distance form the airport or Biarritz town centre. Uber is not cheaper than regular taxi. Possibly even more expensive. I paid 29 Euro from the airport to the hotel on Saturday for a taxi and 33 Euro to the airport for Uber on Tuesday."

"Absolutely stunning chateau with fantastic views across to the Millau viaduct. Waking up and hearing the birds singing and the sunshine on the gardens was beautiful. We have a room with a terrace overlooking the garden. We stayed with our chihuahua and so this was perfect as we had our own door to outside. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good."

"only some of the rooms have balconies and it important if you require one that you request a balcony when booking if you want one. this hotel has a leisure centre That all guests have access to. There is a fabulous beach located within a very short walking distance from the hotel which is lovely for a sunset walk in the evenings."
