"Very characterful old building and beautifully decorated, large bedrooms. Lovely, peaceful bucolic setting with tree filled grounds and great pool. Fanny, the host, could not have been more friendly and helpful. She will advise - or book for you - a local restaurant. Breakfast was great."

"Everything! Delightful hostess and husband made us feel completely at home. Breakfast in the chateau dining room was wonderful! Our room was a jewel, bathroom totally modern, everything worked. We would love to return."

"What a lovely place to stay. The setting is quiet, tranquil and surrounded by open countryside. The owner/hostess, Fanny, made us very welcome and showed us to a beautiful en-suite room with a four-poster bed. An evening meal was taken in the dining room complete with a long table, the type seen in films. The meal offered was vegetarian and although neither of us is vegetarian, I have to say that it was one of the best meals we have ever eaten. After a good nights sleep, we thoroughly enjoyed an excellent breakfast. Looking forward to staying here again."

"Magical place, everything was beautiful and we had such a relaxing stay. Adored the attention to details such as little extras in the room to the super soft scented towels Fanny went out of her way to make our stay perfect. We will definitely come back!"

"Excellent stay in the most beautiful venue in the region. From the booking onwards, the host was very friendly and helpful with arrival information and offering dining options. The location was beyond beautiful; an elegant chateau in green gardens, very nicely decorated. The rooms were spacious and equipped with all amenities. Very quiet rooms. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts very very friendly and accommodating requests for activities etc. Great great stay!"

"Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit äußerst freundlichen Besitzern. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Das Zimmer war wunderschön, ruhig und sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war absolut hervorragend. Alles war super und wir kommen bestimmt wieder."

"We stayed here for 3 nights and it was a perfect choice for Le Havre. Within walking distance to both the beach and the city center and everything else, it was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Parking was also easy to find around the building and the city has free public parking for electric vehicles. Wi-Fi was fast, the shower cabin was large, we picked up and dropped the keys using a lockbox in the building lobby."

"Le logement est propre, bien agencé et bien aménagé. L'emplacement est idéal et le parking dans la cour est un atout non négligeable quand on voit le prix du stationnement dans les rues aux alentours. De plus l'hôte est très agréable."

"Staying at Lilyanne’s is like staying at your great-auntie’s house: a warm welcome, help with your luggage, lots of smiles and singing along to the television, frilly decor, and as much assistance as you need. Oh, and a cute poodle! It was the perfect couple of night’s stopover I needed en route. Close by are big supermarkets, cheap petrol, and a big park to walk the dog. Free parking right outside the house. The Wi-Fi internet works very well, there’s a guest fridge, and Lilyanne kindly allows use of the kitchen - there was everything I needed. My little dog loved the big enclosed back garden, and playing with Choupette, the poodle. I recommend going to see the bridge where it crosses the river, and having a stroll around the village nearby. There’s also a lovely town nearby called Rochefort if you’re looking for shopping and some cultural activities."
