"The location was very good as there was a pebble beach not so far from the property with local facilities in the area, Aswell breakfast was in good porportion with homemade cakes for everyone every morning, with very friendly and welcoming staff . Cathy brought us from La Rochelle train station and was kind enough to pick us up and back to Chez Cathy, also bringing us to the airport the very next day when we missed the morning bus."

"The accommodation was lovely, a really nice room and a touch of class with the presentation (will not ruin it for anyone staying here). The host was lovely and the breakfast was exceptional — my only gripe being I did not have the appetite to enjoy more of the home-made delights on display.... I echo entirely the comments made by others in respect of the breakfast. Also, I was delighted to have a secure place to leave my motorbike (the same undoubtedly applies to cars)."

"It was a little tricky to find — easily resolved with a description of the location (I went past it a couple of times on SatNav. Also, it was a little further than I would have liked from La Rochelle ... around a 4 mile (6km) walk. This is, of course, no fault of the venue, with the pricing being much lower as a result."
