"This is an amazing place. The owner and his wife have lovingly created a place where you can travel back in time. Both the DDay Aviators and DDay Aviators Le Manoir are like a World War II aviation museum, but they are also very welcoming. The comfort of staying was top notch. Of all the places we stayed during our Normandy trip, this was the best sleep we had."
"It is not dislike. It's just to notice. Receprion and parking of DDay Aviators is at DDay Aviators Le Manoir. It's very close - about 2 minutes walk, but if it matters, you can book DDay Aviators Le Manoir instead"
"Unique property with so many interesting WWII artefacts collected with passion by the owners. Location was perfect for visiting all the museums etc. in Arromanches. Private parking was much appreciated. Friendly welcome and great continental breakfast."

"A warm and friendly welcome, explained things very well and had a personal tour of many of the fascinating aerospace artefacts. Also sorted us out as we arrived late to eat at a really great restaurant. Thanks"

"It felt like traveling through time. Is like spending the night in a WWll museum, the owner is a passionate collector of original items and the rooms are keeping somehow the styke of the 40’s . He can tell interesting stories about each item. The breakfast is good and the parking safe ( you must reserve in advance I think as it’s a small parking)"
"The rooms could use some blinds or thick curtains behind the existent ones (half darkening) for people who need completely dark to sleep. Further nothing, we recommand this original and charming small hotel"
"Beautiful rooms and amazingly unique hotel with an astounding collection of WW2 artifacts. This is a must stay for history lovers. The bedroom itself was gorgeous and tastefully decorated, the bathroom was also stunning with a lovely waterfall shower. Everything is finished to a high standard. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel!"

"Beautiful, comfortable, and truly memorable—that’s how I would describe our three nights at La Clos Tellier. We had originally planned to stay for two but added a third simply because it was so lovely. Our itinerary included staying at châteaux all across Normandy during our two-week stay, driving from place to place in our classic car. The weather was glorious, and France was at her very best. Our host, Emmanuelle, was fabulous—like a whisper, she would appear at various moments throughout the day, always with helpful tips on what to see, preparing the most amazing breakfast, or returning from a walk with her lovely dogs, who all befriended our little Cockerpoo, Womble. The rooms were wondrous, the décor to die for, and the garden utterly serene. We’re already planning to return next year."

Remi and Gérard were extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The pool area is fabulous. One of the most relaxing and charming stays we've had in Provence."
