Hotel Le Caballin

"This is a regular favourite of ours. We love the beautiful view of the lake with ducks and swans and it’s fun to stroll over the bridge into Germany. The room was huge with a balcony and the bed is large and comfy. Staff are lovely and the restaurant serves delicious international and local cuisine. You need to ask for your eggs at breakfast, which, freshly cooked, are excellent, although in general the breakfast doesn’t quite live up to the wow factor of everything else."

"Stunning location in countryside but a short walk over the border into Germany with shops snd bars. The staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming both towards us and our dogs. Parking is free and the King Room with balcony was wonderful with a glorious view of the lake. This is our fourth visit and it never disappoints. The restaurant is excellent, parking is free and I loved how the German and French languages mingled around. A super experience. Thank you once again."

"We keep coming back to this place. We love the breakfast. We liked it that you can order omelet for breakfast in addition to breakfast buffet. Breakfast buffet were cold cuts, yoghurt, fruits, salads, mueslis, bread, etc. The bed was really comfortable to sleep in. I like that the room was very spacious and that you had a balcony to view nature. We always love this place as a stop-over to relax after the long drive from Germany."

"I can't think of anything that I didn't like. But for starters, our room didn't have a reading light on the desk. But that was all and Im sure that would be easy to be resolved."

"An ideal location for our onward journey, excellent room and restaurant, we have stayed at this hotel several times and have never had an issue, always friendly, helpful and courteous staff, the rooms have always been spotless and clean, the food is varied and excellent."

"The views from the room were beautiful, the room was spacious, the staff were kind. The entrance to the hotel was a bit confusing - had to walk through the restaurant - but we eventually figured it out. We were only there a couple hours since we were heading to a wedding but I wish we spent more time there!"

"Everything! Such a surprise to have a lovely hotel. Our room balcony looked over the river, beautiful view. Then only a short walk to Briesach town for shops and the cathedral. Room was large, with a sofa area, spotlessly clean and in very good repair - everything worked as it should. Balcony had an insect screen, aircon kept it cool if doors shut. The rest of the hotel restaurant and terrace looked lovely too, but we didn’t have time to try on our short visit."
