"Christine and Patrick were the perfect hosts. Welcoming, generous and charming. They made me feel at home immediately, offering me full use of all ameaneties. The Schirmech train station and local Aldi supermarket are only a 5 minute walk from the accommodation. This accommodation is perfect for tourists (walkers) wishing to climb the GR5 into the Vosges Mountains. The views along the trails are breathtaking."

"sehr nettes zimmer in recht einfachem haus. bad und toilet sind auch sehr einfach. man ist mitten im ort und erreicht gut verschiedene bäckereien, cafés und restaurants. die wirtin ist sehr nett. sowohl die gedenkstätte struthof, als auch die infotafeln am ehemaligen lager schirmeck, sowie das elsass-museum sind in der nähe und (zumindest mit dem auto) sehr gut zu erreichen."
"bad und toilet sind nicht gerade gemütlich, aber dort will man ja auch nicht seinen urlaub verbringen. zur gedenkstätte struthof gibt es kein ÖPNV und auch keine shuttle-busse."
