"The hostess was very friendly and helpful! Even offering me a beer after arrival. And helping me with warming up some dinner because no restaurant around was open. For me the location was great, so close to the Cathar castles and the Gorge."
"For a single traveler, the price was on the high side for my trip. Also, at this time of year, no restaurant in the village was open. Otherwise I may have stayed longer!"

"If you're cycling any of the véloroutes that pass through the area around Briare/Gien, stay here. It's a gem of a place! 1. The people managing this accommodation care about you and your comfort. A lot of love has gone into this place. 2. You are at the back of a property, in a place will make you feel relaxed and calm. No one around you; just geese, chicken and frogs. 3. The facilities are excellent. Clean, well-provisioned kitchen and excellent bathroom facilities (shower is 10/10), outdoor seating, and a cute little 'roulotte' to sleep in. The bed was very comfortable. 4. Take cash to pay for the accommodation on arrival, pick up some groceries in either Châtillon-sur-Loire or Biare before you arrive (decent supermarkets in both), then head here, watch the sun go down with a bottle of Bordeaux, and enjoy the peace and quiet."

"This is simply the best location in Nice. We were spoilt with the stunning view, being able to cross the road to the beach and all the activities. The airport bus as well as the tram is very close and convenient, so le Grand Sud opens up Nice and surroundings to visitors, while offering balmy evenings on the patio enjoying the splendour of the Cote d'Azur. Please do not be distracted by reviews complaining about the fold-away beds. The location and all the other plus points outweigh it by far - and it is a quick change in set-up. Thank you Philipe for being such an attentive and amasing host! We were sad not to meet you in person, but you attended to all our questions and requests with such charm and kind assistance. Nice and your appartment was the highlight of our holiday. Thank you so much, the Serfontein Family"
