"The apartment was very well located in the heart of the old village centre, and within easy access of the town centre, bars, restaurants, shops, and beaches. The 17th century Basilique, which appears so dominantly overlooking the bay, is also just a couple of sets of steps away from the accommodation and its bells can be heard ringing out across the town each hour of the day. Le Brea was really nicely refurbished with a number of useful extras in the kitchen, including plenty of picnic boxes, cleaning products and a few cooking essentials too which all came in handy. The story book in the lounge about how Le Brea was renovated was really nice too."

"As there was no outside space or balcony, and the apartment was very hot and humid during the time of our visit, the freestanding room fans were really not up to the job of cooling the space down. The bathroom door handle was broken and although you could get into the bathroom, you could not get out again which meant you had to leave the door open at all times. And the front door was really quite difficult to unlock especially in the dark when we first arrived. It was also a shame that the freezer was unusable as it was frosted shut. One small thing that was missing was a cheese grater!"

"Very very hot in summer (no airco). Ventilators provided only a little comfort at night. The door handle of the bathroom door on the inside doesn't work, we accidentally locked ourselves in several times during our stay, luckily another family member was always present to get the door open again from the outside."

"Appartamento ben sistemato ed accogliente al centro storico di Mentone a due passi dal lungo mare e con tutti i servizi a portata di mano. La struttura è ristrutturata bene ed è confortevole. Dotata di smart tv e connessione wifi gratuita."

"Unica pecca le scale strette e ripide per salire nell'appartamento al secondo piano. Per il resto tutto ok"
