"Le Chatel is an incredibly romantic place. The rooms are on an old family farm with a long and very interesting history. The hosts are so caring, helpful, excited and friendly. The breakfasts and dinners are from their crops and homemade products, and they also make their own cidre and lambig. This must sound like a paid advertisement, but the truth is I enjoyed the time there so much, took many photos and wish to come back again. Greetings and thanks to France and Yann!"

"We had a lovely stay at Le Chatel, France and Yann are excellent hosts. Breakfast was good, coffee / tea were available during the day (you need your own milk - there is a fridge for guests to use). The surroundings are very pleasant, and very relaxing. France and Yann were very helpful in providing information about the area. Pont Aven is a pretty town with a range of eateries, nice little bakers if you simply want a sandwich. With the restaurants worth booking ahead in high season. Lots of tourist shops / galleries. Interesting museum. Great walks in the area, particularly the paths along side the Aven and Belon rivers. Tha accommodation is best suited for travellers with transport (car/bike) as it is located just beyond the perimeter of Pont Aven. Around a 20 min walk in, first short stretch is on a grass verge of a main road - busy in the day, little traffic at night. Rest of the walk is fine, have a torch, street lights go out relatively early!"

"Depends on your point of view! Phone and Wi-Fi signal were intermittent, if you don’t want to be disturbed then this is not a problem."

"Petits-déjeuners variés et équilibrés. L'emplacement de l'établissement très bien à côté de plusieurs site à visiter. Jardin et mansardes très typiques beaucoup de charme. L'accueil à été très agréable. Petite famille à connaître."

"Un jardin fleuri,une chambre fleurie et des hôtes prévenants à la conversation agréable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre semaine passée chez France et Yann au milieu d'une campagne boisée et tout près de Pont Aven. Deepak et Joëlle"

"Residenza di campagna molto carina, ben arredata, con ampio giardino e ampia struttura per parcheggiare almeno 6 auto al coperto. Le varie stanze si trovano in diversi edifici attigui tutte intorno al giardino, ben fornito di tavolini e sedie a disposizione degli ospiti. Camera ampia, ben arredata, bagno ampio, pulito con vasca da bagno. Buono il materasso."

"All'interno della nostra stanza non funzionava ne il wi-fi (funziona solo nella stanza comune adibita a sala per colazione), ne il traffico di rete. Per accedere ad internet era necessario uscire dal nostro edificio. Nella stanza non c'è televisore (magari a qualcuno interessa saperlo). La colazione, compresa nel prezzo, era usufruibile dalle ore 09.00 alle ore 10.00: volendo perlustrare la zona per noi era troppo tardi attendere fino alle 09.00."

"La propreté, l'authenticité du lieu, l'accueil de France et Yann. Un lieu bien situé. Un petit déjeuner à l'ambiance familiale. On a adoré discuter avec tout le monde. Le dîner "comme à la maison" dans un petit cadre magnifique était top, Yann cuisine très bien ! France connaît très bien les alentours, elle a su nous conseiller pour notre séjour. Je suis heureux"

"Un petit déjeuner a été très bon, beaucoup de choses faites maison. Le cadre est très agréable, si vous aimez la nature, la végétation, les fleurs,....les hôtes accueillants. Proximité de Pont-Aven où nous avons pu faire plusieurs balades...très bon séjour, on recommande avec plaisir."
