"Le Lanternon is a hidden jewel, curated to perfection by its wonderful and warm owner, Jerome. The building itself is very beautiful, with parquet floors high ceilings and many original features. Jerome has taken much care and effort to restore it, while also providing every comfort you may require. Breakfast each morning was delicious, served on beautiful hand made pottery. Coffee, tea and water on tap and an honour bar. The rooms are spacious, peaceful and cool. It’s best to think of it as a lovely private home to which you are invited to stay, rather than an unoriginal five star luxury hotel. To come with that expectation is to miss the point entirely. We have now stayed there for two years running and intend to make a regular annual pilgrimage. It could not be in a better location, right in the heart of St Martin, a charming port village with great restaurants and shops."

"Lovely house, really perfect. Very well equipped with everything you could need. Air conditioning a definite bonus and a great little pool to cool off in. Super private terrace and comfortable rooms. Just a few minutes walk into the village with boulangerie, cave, shop, and a couple of good restaurants. Hosts were so friendly and kind. Perfect!"

"The host was such an amazing guy, i unfortunately checked in very late at 9pm where i note on the booking 3pm i contacted the host, he came to me at 10Pm to hand me the keys and he had to travel from his primary residence he went out of his way to do that for and it was my mistake! what an awesome host with the best recommendations for restaurants - besides from that he made me feel very welcome and the accommodation was amazing i highly recommend this amazing booking! Next time you are in Nice book at this amazing place with the most amazing host god bless"
