"Loved our stay at the hotel on our way driving south so stayed here again on our way north, driving back to UK. Beautiful location next to the river and close to the town centre. Easy parking next to hotel. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful, our room was upgraded free of charge - all very comfortable. Meal was delicious. One to remember!"

"The staff were charming, and so helpful. Really appreciated being switched to a ground floor room when they saw I was on crutches! Big parking garage , good meal, quiet spot, close to motorway: ticks all the boxes!. Right beside the river Aube but also short walk into town centre"

"We were welcomed as tho we were long standing customers, even tho this was our first stay. We had a lovely little room - small but everything we needed. The residents lounge was comfortable and well appointed. All of the staff are wonderful - so kind and friendly. We ate in the restaurant for both nights of our stay and thoroughly enjoyed the food and wine on offer. Such good value for money. We will certainly be back in the future.."

"The staff are very welcoming and it is now my halfway stop of preference travelling Italy to UK or reverse. The accommodation overlooking the river in this quaint town is tranquil. Then, by prebooking, the dinners are really good. Parking is also convenient and excellent especially with my huge van (most times) but also with my car. The town is simply charming and full of history - well worth a walk around. Small detail, but the rooms are keyless and it makes it easy for me to pay the night before leaving, usually, very early without any fuss or waiting. Can also recommend the breakfast on odd occasions when I am not on a tight schedule. Also worth pointing out that the hotel is very close to a junction of the A26 and there are a couple of fuel stations to top up at 'normal' (non motorway) prices but despite the closeness the town is fabulous."

"The house had all the amenities we needed, there were 2 bathrooms which with 4 sharing was very useful. It was in an excellent location within easy walk of the castle, the town, the canal and the train station. The beds were very comfortable and it was in a quiet location despite being so close to everything. The key code on the front door meant that there was no key to lose and it meant that the 4 of us could come and go as we pleased, either together or separately."
"The location was convenient. It met our needs, we were only there for one night. The host were very kind and kept good communication, they even allowed us a late checkout. We enjoyed our breakfast outside on the well furnished patio. Thank you"

"Beautiful setting with views of the river.. All the different areas in the garden were a pleasure to discover. The owners were friendly and very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble.The bedroom was spacious and very well thought out. We appreciated the coffee and tea facilities and the fridge. We would have loved to have stayed longer"

"Very secluded, quiet, comfortable, yet located near the city centre. Remote controllable locked parking space provided. The hosts are very kind, always responsive, looked after well to stay comfortable like home even worried about the bad weather to hinder my travel around. Bed is comfortable enough and bathroom is clean and well maintained overall. Small patio and garden is extra when wether is good. Top of the top. Highly recommend!"
"Nice quiet location about 10mi from the A26 motorway. A little difficult to locate when it gets dark especially as the outside pictures don't quite correspond, but the owner helpfully flagged us down from the gate when we rang her up. It is an apartment on the first floor with its own entrance up some outside stairs at the back of the owner's house. Very simply furnished but functional. Owners are quite relaxed. A boulangerie in the next village at Charmont-s-B -- otherwise not many other facilities available in the neighbourhood."
