"A really unique setting within the walls of a little oasis in Valenciennes. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and was served in the conservatory/orangery. The property is within a few minutes walk of an amazing selection of restaurants and cafes - we were spoiled for choice."

"The room was lovely. Air conditioning was very welcomed. Fridge in the room. There is a small amount of parking at the hotel, and loads of street parking (7€ for 12 hours). A short walk to the main centre. Check in isn't until 5.30 but they did allow is to check in 1 hour early."

"Staff were polite but not overly friendly. Some background music whilst eating breakfast would have softened the atmosphere. Breakfast basic."

"We enjoyed having a whole house at our disposal. The bedroom heating made it cosy even in November, and there are lovely views from it. The ensuite is fine. The bath is hip-bath size, but it has a shower head attached. The sitting room downstairs is lined with books and there is a large dining area with big windows by the kitchen, and a cupboard filled with cutlery and crockery. We appreciated finding the house open when we arrived instead of having to rendezvous with the owner ( whom we saw the next day)"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Appartements Le Hupsa Pfannala. We were very impressed with the location, the spacious apartment, the hospitality and welcome. The owners are very considerate; especially we would like to thank Max for all his help, from advice on wine to phone calls and interrupting his dinner to provide assistance. The restaurant was very good. We look forward to visiting again as soon as possible."
