"What more could I have asked for than a good quality reasonably priced hotel adjacent to the town centre, underground parking a few steps away (and only 7.40€ for the night) and well over half a dozen bars and restaurants (including the hotel’s) around Square Arsène Vermenouze to choose from. Refurbished a few years ago to a decent standard, Le Square was really good value. My well-equipped and comfortable room overlooked the square although, presumably for safety reasons, I couldn’t raise the blind fully to take in the whole view of the park. Nothing really to criticise although I found the décor in the corridor & room a bit old fashioned. The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. It was a great location and I would certainly stay here again."

"1° nuit (1° chambre ) = forte odeur de tabac ayant imprégné les vêtements, y compris ceux contenus dans la valise. Peut-être aussi une difficulté pour la transmission du code d'entrée en l'absence de personnel à l'accueil, pour la première nuit, mais satisfaisant pour la 2° nuit."

"Petit déjeuner copieux mais le pain grillé était franchement trop cuit. Il manquait un croissant sur les 8 petits déjeuners commandés. Sinon tout était parfait. Personnel trè sà l'écoute, agréable et discret."
