Set in Worcestershire farmland, Eckington Manor mixes charming old features with modern design. Rooms are located within 4 converted farm buildings, including a beamed 12th-century hall, but are decorated in a contemporary style. Free 無料Wi-Fi access is available and there is free on-site parking. The rooms are individually decorated, some with silk wallpaper, all with antique and designer furniture and Siberian goose-down pillows. All come with a flat-screen TV, and facilities for making tea and coffee. As well as award-winning accommodation, you can enjoy cookery lessons in the on-site state of the art cookery school. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are plenty of walks and footpaths for you to explore - you might see the Aberdeen Angus and Highland cattle roaming the fields. Eckington is just off the M5 motorway, and a 25-minute drive from Worcester. Cheltenham and Gloucester can be reached in around 30 minutes by car. "The room was spacious and well laid out. The bathroom was in the main room which was kinda cute. Bed linen and towels of excellent quality. Breakfast food was very good and extensive choice, evening meal was very good and of high quality."
"We were in the milking parlor section which mean the windows looked out to bamboo a few feet away and the carpark behind it. For the price paid was hoping to have a view to go with it ! The one downside and perhaps minor was the approach to charge for a Cappuccino and latte at breakfast. Although Tea and Filter coffee were offered as part of breakfast, to charge an extra 4 quid for a cappuccino felt just a little like an unnecessary upsell for an already high price stay. Took the edge off what overall was a lovely break for us."
"The room was superb. It had a separate lounge area and the bed was huge and comfortable. The room was in a converted agricultural building next to the main manor and its furnishings reflected the agricultural and historical origins of the building. The breakfast was served in the bar and restaurant building opposite the Manor House. The breakfast was individually prepared and cooked to order. Jane, the receptionist, was excellent , sending me directions to make sure I could find the room (as I was arriving late on Sunday night after the staff had left). She also remembered me from my previous stays and had remembered past conversations about my visits and my family! Very good customer service!"
