"Fantastic l.ocation to visit Castleton and take advantage of the country walks close by, parking was a real bonus too. Host was friendly and made sure we were comfortable. Room as a very good size, bed was comfortable and there was plenty of team/coffee etc provided. Bathroom was a decent size too. Good standard of cleanliness, warm and cosy room. Short walk to the cafes, pubs and shops."
"Nothing really, just personal preference to prefer a walk-in shower rather than over the bath - otherwise could not fault Ramblers Rest - we would stay again."

This was not received Not sure if it states on the website or not - but we were there 3 days, our room wasn’t checked, cleaned nor our towels changed Had to ask for more milk (for tea and coffee) we ran out again but felt like it was an inconvenience to ask for more"

"Evertthing was great. But we are both quite big tall people and the room was a little small for us with the sloping ceiling"
"The owner was so welcoming and had brilliant local knowledge. She have us pointers on where to dine and even told us of a 40% discount offer at one of the pubs. Right in the heart of Castleton. Hikes from the front door. Parking essential in Castleton and they have a car park. Would stay again!"
