"1. The location was superb. It was completely quiet and provided panoramic views over the ocean from the terrace. 2. The cottage was sensitively built -compact, but with all we needed. 3. The hostess and owner were friendly and very helpful -it was a pleasure to meet them both. 4. We were on a walking holiday and access to the southern half of the island was good from here. 5. It was extremely hot during our stay. The lovely swimming pool and terrace were much appreciated. 6. Exploring the plants and seeing the birds in the compact but varied garden was a pleasure. 7. This was our best accommodation during our 4 weeks on the island."

We would have appreciated a comfortable chair in the living area. A car is needed to get to the nearest supermarket. It is close by, but walking along the road is too dangerous.

"Magical spot in nature with exceptional views and epic sunrise view from bed. The whole property crafted with love and creative artistic features. Loved the whole place, rustic and good quality. Having access to the beautiful pool with a view also a massive bonus. Very sad to leave, so happy to have stayed for four nights. Peter. Rocio and Santiago are exceptional hosts."

Owners not there so being run by backpackers/chef - meant little things were missed. Boat to get there is very overpriced.

"Simba camp is an amazing place to stay, especially if you want to experience the local culture and see wildlife. The chef cooked delicious food and even went out of his way to cater to my son's fussy eating. The highlights were definitely the morning and evening walks with Kwenia to see the wildlife and learn about the bush, the school and village visits, and beading with the local women. A very memorable experience."

The view is stunning, and the atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature. I left feeling completely recharged. Can’t wait to come back! "The view from the pool is absolutely stunning! It's in a great location - about 10 minutes walk from the port and the centre of town where you can find the tuk tuks. The staff were very welcoming throughout our stay and breakfast was really good! The staff were also very helpful - when they couldn't serve an early breakfast, they told us where we could go instead. They were also able to provide information for our next destination. AMEX is accepted. We'll be returning!"

Some things weren't communicated well in the beginning - like having to order breakfast the day before. They were not able to serve an early breakfast to fit with our activities for the day. The wifi doesn't work from the bedroom.
