Situated 10 km from Split in Podstrana, Villa Mario is only a few metres from the pebble beach and features a large, summer terrace where guests can enjoy their meals. The terrace is covered in greenery, which creates a cool, relaxing ambience in summer. Villa Mario is a good starting point to visit Split with the famous antique Diocletian's Palace or go rafting on Cetina River, 12 km away. The local bus arrives within a 25-minute ride in Split.

"The property was excellent, clean and the room spacious, they also have a restaurant where you can have dinner near the sea. A lot of parking spots available. What made the difference though was the lovely staff, very helpful and extra friendly."

"Our bungalow had an amazing view at the sea. The beach is at your feet and the sunbeds are free to use for the residents of the hotel. The parking is also free."

"Perfect location. Right on the beach and good local bus service. Mario and others were so helpful and sincere. Although the room I booked said there were coffee making facilities, there weren’t but Mario provided me with a kettle and cup and spoon in no time at all. Also very accommodating with an early breakfast when I had to leave for a boat trip."

"Very good location, close to Split, Makarska and all the beaches. Plenty of restaurants around by walking distance. The beach is just few steps (literally 1 min) outside the villa which is great. Plenty of sunbeds (free)."
