Honest Budapest by Chic & Basic, located between the Eastern and Western train stations, is surrounded by trendy boutiques, great restaurants and impressive sights. The guest rooms are all well-equipped with soundproofed windows and flat-screen TVs featuring numerous film channels. The Danube, Váci street, the Synagogue, Budapest’s “Broadway”, the best restaurants, theatres and concert halls are all located nearby and easily accessible thanks to the public transport system in the area.

"A great hotel, close to multiple attractions sites with rooms facing a yard giving a chance to rest at night. Lovely and attentive staff."

"A double bed consists of two singles, and at times the gap appears. One double bed would be more convenient."

"This hotel was perfectly located in Budapest, they had some fantastic bars, cafes and restaurants close by. The room itself was spotless, including the bedding and towels provided. The staff were very friendly, they greeted us every morning and were warm / accommodating. We didn’t use the bar / restaurant but it looked very nice."

"Pillows weren’t the best, but that’s not the be all and end all. Some street noise but it’s not the hotels fault, cars and people have no care for the time of day unfortunately."

"Approach of the personel is excellent, comfortable parking in the yard, or for free on the street, spacious apartment, surprisingly good breakfast (one will not be hungry), nice yard & backyard with the pool and with option to do some physical excercise. Location is totally quiet, but if you want to go to the center, it is not a walking distance, at least not for us."

"Cozy apartment in excellent location and peaceful neighborhood! The host Chris was super helpful and friendly. The apartment was very clean and the building was pretty quiet even thought the walls were thin. Lots of storage and closet space. The balcony and the view from there were nice as well. Public transportation was very reachable."

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It is located in a beautiful valley, surrounded by nature, which made the atmosphere peaceful and relaxing. The wellness area was excellent — several pools, different saunas, jacuzzis, and a variety of massage services to choose from. We really enjoyed spending time there. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel also offers great entertainment options such as a bowling alley, table tennis and a pool table, which we appreciated."
