"Location was great, away from the busy main street but still close enough to walk. Lovely cafe with good coffee and a circle K next door. The villa was clean and so spacious for our group of 6. Ketut provided everything We needed. The outdoor bathrooms are amazing. Beds were comfy and full kitchen was great as we also cooked at home a few times. Pool was lovely to come home to cool off in the afternoons. We will be back!"

"Nice tidy and spacious villa close to the mart. Close to the beach and seminyak square. Close to Ku de ta hot spot. Good restaurants in area."

"Locals outside of mart hassling woman walking into the mart. Sketchy area for woman at night whilst walking to the shops. Catch a grab scooter if you need to shop at night."

"We had a super relaxing stay at Villa Ellen. The staff were lovely and communication was excellent. Everything we needed was close. The Local Cafe was excellent, and the spa just down the road was fabulous. Also close to many places to eat - Damasta Sport bar and Warung Nia a short walk were 2 of our favourites. We would highly recommend Villa Ellen and happily return in the future."

"Fantastic location, Ayu our housekeeper was lovely and did a fantastic job each day. The villa property manager was easy to reach and responded to messages promptly and arranged a driver for our return airport trip and also included an airport transfer complimentary to get us to the villa on day one. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"We had some issues with the gas stove, it was a simple fix in the end. There were also some finishings that were starting to fall apart, bits of plasterboard in the windowsill. All easy fixes, just needs some small maintenance."

"La villa est magnifique , la piscine avec une vue sur la rivière et entouré de végétation est un petit coin très sympa. Possibilité qu'un chef vous prépare le petit déjeuner sur un plateau flottant dans la piscine. La salle de bain en extérieur est incroyable ! Mention spéciale pour le personnel qui est vraiment au petit soin et toujours disponible si vous avez besoin !!"

"For my first three nights I was upgraded into a room with kitchen and bathroom and then for the final three days I was in a single room with a double bed with a shared kitchen and bathroom. We had free tea, coffee and fruit every day. It was central to everything in Uluwatu and the people were friendly and welcoming."

"The views, cleanliness, and attention to detail were absolutely spot on. Everything a guest could possibly need had been thought of in advance. There were jugs of drinking water in the bathroom for brushing, the kitchen was fully stocked with essentials (even cooking oil), and a water dispenser with backups was provided. Ice was already available in the freezer. These may seem like small touches, but they made a big difference to the overall comfort of our stay. Our host, Krishna, was outstanding. From booking tours for us to even providing his own car to help us get around, he went above and beyond to make our trip smooth and enjoyable. We truly loved our stay and couldn’t have asked for a better host!"

"Staff are incredible, so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. They messaged every day to ask when they could come to clean to make sure they were coming at a good time. Rooms are much more spacious than the photos seem, with huge private bathroom for each room. The unrestricted view of the rice fields is amazing, and we even saw fireflies at night The places that are good to go in the neighbourhood are Cable Coffee (directly opposite) the street, Wedja (about a 12 min walk) and Ramu Kitchen (about a 10-15 min walk). But its hard to walk because there are so many huge holes in the street."
