The Nest

The Nest is located just 1.5km from the centre of Doolin village, boasting views of sunsets and the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands. All of The Nest's rooms have flat screen TVs, hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities. All of the en-suites are equipped with power showers. The Nest home provides a central location for exploring North Clare. The Burren is 33 minutes' drive away, the Cliffs of Moher is 12 minutes' drive and the Aran Islands are a short ferry ride away. There are a selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes along the street to The Nest, and other places to eat and drink are a short walk away.

"Loved the accommodation, really well equipped , clean and enjoyed the pod experience."

"Slightly too far out of Doolin to walk into pubs every night, would be good if you could walk across the fields as a shortcut. Also the foliage around the pod made a noise dragging across the outside when it was windy, it was pretty constant while we were there."

"Staff really friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Rooms are modern, tastefully decorated and clean. Liked the idea of self service breakfast. Well equipped kitchen with cereal, toast brew making facilities all free. Eve. Cheese and ham in the fridge. Location is great. Stunning village in countryside. Although we didn't use it there is a train station so you could get here without a car."

"Really easy booking. Ciara gave us lots of advice on how to get there, where to park etc. Communicating with her was really easy and she was patient with any requests. Apartment is well serviced, clean, more spacious than you think and absolutely perfectly located. Walking distance from anywhere you'd want to go in Kilkenny. Showers were great - even with two of them on the go at one time. The code system is really easy is especially in a large group. Arif was really easy to deal with on arrival, leaving his job to come get us in. On check out, he was prompt, polite and accommodating. He was really helpful in Lanigan's Bar also, which I would recommend for people looking good atmosphere in Kilkenny. All in all, a fantastic experience. Unbeatable value for money. Perfect location. Easy hosts. Particularly if you are coming down in a big group looking somewhere to stay and a bit of craic, this is the place for you."

"Excellent location walking distance to Pubs and restaurants in Doolin, as as the ferry to Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher and the Doolin Caves . Amazing view of the cliff from our room! Easy to find, they were very flexible with our checkin when our flights were delayed and answered immediatley making this part of our delay stress free and easy to manage. Beds were comfortable, room was large and property is pristinely well kept, clean and lots of free parking at the property."
