"I stayed here based on a recommendation from my friend who visited the place and it was exactly as he described. It's a beautiful place with a view, and most importantly, it's clean. "It was a wonderful night! We had a lovely experience in this house overlooking Karak Castle. The host was very friendly and offered us warm tea and some delicious Ramadan sweets. "Immaculate large two bedroom apartment with a good kitchen and some heating (it was very cold weather at the time) and firm but comfortable beds! The host couldn't have been more helpful - taking us to the supermarket in his car, even though his pregnant wife was in hospital due to give birth the next morning! He also has very good English and very informative about Jordan and Karak. The location has free parking and a view of the castle walls and is only five minutes walk from the castle square and a few local restaurants."

"The shower was hot but a bit weak, although this is true of most places in Jordan - water is scarce and pressures low! The area around the Old House was quite scruffy - discarded building materials and so on (again not uncommon in Jordan where waste management is poor)."
