"The place is beautiful. It must have been hard to put together such a beautiful hotel in Comoros where infrastructure is generally a bit lacking. The host and the staff were also very friendly and nice. They did their best to ensure I had a pleasant stay, towards the end when I was running a bit low on local currency for my meal, the host just waived it off (which I was so grateful for I ended up more than making up for it in USD for my final meal, but to me, it's not about the money, kindness goes a long way). Comoros isn't an easy place for tourists, but Le Dhow made the most out of it. When I think about what I enjoyed the most about Comoros, it was probably Le Dhow, which goes to show what a great hotel it is."

"Friendly staff, but spoke little English, I speak no French, but was able to communicate with the owner via message over booking.com. Good wifi in the restaurant area, room was very clean, ac worked well , there was a fridge and microwave and gas hob if u wanted to cook. Also a small shop just outside the entrance as well for water, snacks etc. The tv had some English channels and bbc world news. It was a 10 min walk to a busy area with shops and cafes and a 30min walk to the mosque. There's also beer and wine store close by, very few places serve beer, only the tennis club. There's a restaurant at the accommodation as well, breakfast was arranged for me when I wanted it for an additional 3500kmf . All in all I would reccomended this place and would stay again. It's a full appointment, with a large living room dinner and separate bedroom toilet and shower room all tastefully decorated."

The alleyway leading to the accommodation is very dark at night and could make some people feel uneasy, however I found all the locals very friendly and welcoming, everyone say bonjour as u walk past them in the street. A very friendly and small city"
