Hostel Nomad

"キルギスで出会った旅人にオススメされて泊まった。観光地から離れているけど、地下鉄の駅やバス停に5分以内で行ける。空港のバス(92番)やキルギスからのバスターミナルからの市バスが徒歩3分くらいのバス停に停まり便利。スーパーやデパート、レストランが目の前にあり立地がとてもいい。スタッフの人は英語ができない人がいるけど、翻訳アプリでしっかり質問に答えてくれる。また対応が丁寧で気を使える。清掃も定期的にされており、室内やキッチン、バスルーム、トイレは清潔。ベットも個人的にとても寝やすかった。延長して4泊した。他の宿から移動して延泊する人も何人かいた。たぶんここは人気が出るホステルだと思う。洗濯機は有料だけど、良心的な値段。飛行機が深夜出発だったけど、良心的な値段で23時までベットを使わせてくれた。(17時までのレイトチェックアウトもしてくれる?)"

"トイレの換気が弱いせいか、匂いがこもりやすい。(消臭スプレーは置かれている) シャワー室はカーテンで仕切られた個室だけど、脱衣所は共有なので着替え中に人が入ってくると気まずい。(ただし、シャワー室は男女で別れている) しかし、総じて満足なので、またアルマトイに行くなら泊まりたい宿。"

"We had a great stay. The dorms are comfortable, with soft mattresses, individual reading lights, power sockets and privacy curtains : we slept really well! We were warmly welcomed by someone who spoke English and took the time to show us around and help us settle in, which we really appreciated. The hostel also has a fully equipped kitchen and a large dining area with plenty of seating, which is super convenient for cooking, eating or working. It’s located in a quiet, leafy residential area, with a shopping mall nearby and several places to eat around. The metro to reach the city centre is within walking distance, making it very easy to get around. I definitely recommend this hostel if you’re staying in Almaty!"

"Highly recommended. And don't worry about the location not in the center because this hostel is located on the main street of the city, behind the Moscow Mall near the metro station also called Moscow. 1) Bus #92 from/to the airport stops here and costs 0.3 EUR (and there is even a night bus #3 which does the same all night and costs the same). 2) The center can be reached by a very cheap (same 0.3 EUR) metro in 20 minutes. Besides it is very easy to use Almaty metro: there is only one metro line. All other aspects of the hostel are top rated and simply the best, you won't find anything better in the city and you won't regret your choice"

"Wonderful hostel well deserving of its high rating - impressively clean, good lockers, easy access to the metro, nearby food and supermarket, three showers and toilets, space for working cooking and eating. Even if not all speak English, the staff are mostly available 24/7 and extremely helpful with one even helping me print a stack of visa papers."

"The hostel was (like many in Almaty I believe) quite quiet even in April and most guests were staying in the city for work - if you are a solo backpacker maybe stay elsewhere. I understand electricity is likely expensive but the staff's habit of turning off lights when noone is in an area doesn't help the atmosphere."

"This a new hostel in Almaty and deserves attention and support.Its clean,spacious,nice hosts,close to Moscow metro station and 20 meters from a great mall that you can buy everything..in addition if you come or go to the airport the bus stop is 200 mts from.the hostel.so no need to get taxi..just head outside of the airport and you will find bus 92 to rake you to hostel.you have to stop outside Moskva mall. Of course the bus is till 22pm..so if you arrive at the airport later you need a yandex taxi..for abou 8 EUR. I had a great roommate Sergei that we went to the Ice ring.The hostel has secure lockers inside the dormitory to place your valuables.. Highly recommended."
