Monte Mare Hotel

"We stayed from 27 to 31 Jan 2024. It felt like home away from home because the place is managed by lovely people and we had everything we needed during our stay. Our room had a sea view which was stunning on sunny and stormy days. The hotel is situated between the shore road and the motorway, so it was very convenient and easy for us to grab a taxi or a bus to neighbouring towns like Jounieh or Byblos Jbeil, Adma, etc"

"The hotel is really nice it s literally in front of the beach like 10 min walking. The problem is that the beach looks very dirty but that’s no fault of the hotel. When i arrived they upgraded me to a sea view room and it was just incredible. The hotel staff is great and always try to cater at your needs. Only one of the staff member was not great and i found him a bit strange and rude but it might just be a language barrier."

"The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant they only serve breakfast which is not the best i have ever had and they help you with ordering from other restaurants. The hotel could also need some updates but overall everything was good"

"Great location. Beautiful view. Very helpful and friendly personnel. Tasty fresh breakfast. Pleasant pool area. Clean pool. Comfortable bed."

"The hotel does have a private beach area, as indicated in the description. However, it is located near a building that is now in the process of deconstruction, which creates uncomfortable noise and extra dust on the terrain that already needs some large-scale cleaning. Also, the beach is not accessible any time, as one needs to let the staff know an hour in advance. Nevertheless, it did not ruin the generally very good impression of the hotel."

"Old room furniture, the refrigerator (the empty minibar) not working. Bad daily room services. The first day I arrived and got my room I was so tired and immediately prepared a coffee in my room from the instant coffee available there. The second day we went out from early morning and when were back I was shocked that the cup I used yesterday was jaust washed by tap water in the room and even not washed well..!!! It was a really disgusting scene!!! What I thought about was that what if the room service deal the same way with other purposes in the room, the towels for exampl???? It will be a disaster, specially regarding their replacement after the checkout of the guest before our arrivel!!!"
