"良くも悪くも想像以上のロケーションです。道路から家までがとても急な階段(ほぼ崖)です。足腰悪い人は避けてください。その分お部屋のテラスからの眺めはとても良いです。猿やリスだけでなく、遠くに列車が通るのも見えます。動物に餌をあげることもできました。 900ルピーで夕食がいただけます。辛いものが食べられない子どもがいると伝えると、本当に辛くないカレーを用意してくれました。とても助かりました。 バスルームに洗濯用と思われる洗面器があります。(が、湿気が多く全く乾かないのでエラではあまり洗濯しない方が良いと思います)"

"2台のベッドのうち蚊帳があるのは１つです。 掃除はもう少し頑張れると思います。汚いとは言わないけど。 お湯は一応出るけど水圧はとても弱いです。あとバスルームの電気がチカチカしているので修理した方が良いと思います。 トゥクトゥクを手配してくれますが、適正価格なのかはいまいち信用できませんでした。(エラ自体が田舎で配車アプリがほぼ活用できないから、そもそもぼられること多めです。)バスは本数が少ないので現実的ではないです。ここに泊まるなら自分の移動手段を持っていた方が良さそう。 私が滞在したときは午後がずっとどしゃ降りの雨でした。中心地だったらカフェで過ごすとかできたかもですが、そもそも家から道路に降りるのが難しいため、引きこもるしかなかったです。"

"Nice & peaceful stay amidst the hills. The room had a wonderful view & everything we needed. Our host, prasanna was so kind - he hosted us for breakfast & dinner. He helped us with everything that we needed and almost made us feel part of his family, a very warm host indeed. The property has a slight uphill walk in order to reach it, but there are more pros about this stay which would compensate for the uphill walk."

"The property was lovely, clean, comfortable and in a great location. The host was amazing and helped me with so much including transport onto the next part of my trip and what to do in Ella. One of the nicest homestays i’ve stayed in, would definitely recommend!"

"Very nice place in a great garden, with a lovely family! They advised us well about the things to do around Ella, took care of our tuktuk, and cooked us a delicious traditional rice and curry. Great local breakfast too! You will find a few restaurants 5 minutes walking around on main road, and Bella Ella can provide dinner and cooking classes on demand (we haven't tried here because we have done it a few days before). Above all, what we look for, when we are travelling abroad is to meet local people, speak with them and have an idea of how they live. Bella Ella is a great place for it! We took a lot of pleasure discussing with the owner. Finally the owner found a good driver to Kandy for us. We had a great trip via the jungle road with him. Our son has motion sickness ( bad luck in sri lanka 😀) and the driver was caring with him, giving him lime fruit to press under the nose. And you know what, it works!"

"Nothing special. We appreciated the place and the family. We loved the smile 😀 But whenever you decide to book this place, i just want to warn the customers that this a local place. You will see and hear local sounds which make Sri Lankan way of life: jungle trees, birds, monkeys, and tuktuks!! If you like walking and take time to go around, there are nice little roads all around. Going to Ella city center by feet takes at least 20 minutes via main road. There's traffic but it's ok, much less than other parts of the town!. Personnally we liked all of it but this has to be known."

"Staying here was such a nice experience. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. You also get a good view of Little Adam’s Peak and absolutely BEAUTIFUL sunrise. A special thanks to the Prasanna (Loku) because he is so helpful and kind, it’s so heartwarming. We were down with some flu and he was kind enough to bring us ginger tea in the morning and the breakfast is delicious! He was also sweet enough to check up on us time to time. He’ll also help with scooter rental and Tuk Tuk. There are some steep steps to the stay, so be mindful before booking! It’s not difficult but it can be for senior citizens maybe."

"Amazing family host! Created a perfect schedule where to go to and took us there accoringly. One of the guests were feeling sick, but the host took very good care of him. Amazing stay!"
