"I really enjoyed my time here that I decided to spend an extra day. They family are very kind and extremely helpful. The guest house is located about a 20-minute walk to Mirissa. The walk is just lovely. It also means you get to experience a more local vibe to Mirissa. The room is very bright and beautiful. I would definitely recommend staying here!!"

"The balcony room was spacious and very clean. We received a warm welcome from our host and had the place to ourselves, as the other two rooms were empty. The host gave us our privacy but was there when we needed something. We stayed over the weekend, so we didn't experience noise from the school as some other reviewers had mentioned. It was great to be able to buy fresh bread from the bakery next door and buffalo yogurt from a nearby stall."

"The room did get pretty hot even with the ceiling fan on. The cheapest room was at the back of the building without an external window, so I would recommend booking the balcony or garden view rooms instead of the budget room."

"The room is perfect, everything inside looks very good! I love the bed with a mosquito net over it. The bathroom is exactly what you would expect. A small kitchen is available too. I really enjoyed my stay!"

"The only small problem is that the road in front of the property gets a bit noisy early in the morning and it's difficult to sleep. Was using ear plugs it was better but bear in mind the location is not the quietest... Otherwise all good !"

"A simple and clean room 1 km away from the hustle of Mirisa. Ideal location if you have a scooter to move. Always made my day passing near the rice fields!"

"Great place, I stayed there two weeks. The owners are very nice and own a shop below the room, so you can always get essential snacks and cooking ingredients. I had everything I needed. The kitchen was basic but sufficient, there was two good tables to work, and the area is nice to take some short walks."

"The family was great, but they also left most things to me. I did most of the cleaning while they did it quite rarely. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, and the mosquito net was hard to close, so I often woke up from being bitten by mosquitoes. Also, the property is surrounded by a lot of barking dogs, some noisy neighbors and a school that gets noisy and hectic twice a day, one at 7.30 and once at 12-13.00. So to chill or work, or to get good sleep, you will need a bit of a thick skin."
