"Owner couldn’t do enough for me after they suffered problems with electrics and water from the floods so collected me from the airport and took me to his brother-in-law‘s hotel to stay"

"We stayed for one night, checking in late and departing early the next morning. The property is located slightly off the main road, offering a peaceful environment. The hosts and manager were courteous and ensured a smooth check-in. Our second-floor room was clean, spacious, and featured a large double bed. We were informed that the beach is within walking distance. The hosts served a good breakfast before our departure. As our stay was brief, we could not experience other amenities, but we appreciate the warm and attentive service provided."

"The location cannot get better than this. It’s like having your own beautiful villa on the Indian Ocean. The staff was very good, they really made us feel at home, they were very accommodating of the requests coming from a family with 2 small children."

"We had a wonderdul time here. We came searching for remoteness, nature and fauna, adventure and a specific sense to be out of our comfort zone, where we thrive and find enjoyment. The property delivered on all the above. Like hinted, this place caters for a certain kind of audience, and at that it excels. You can drive up even with a Prius and moderate skill. It just takes some self overcoming. Otherwise let yourself be picked up by the staff or be driven. "Nice and big swimming-pool, friendly and welcoming staff, big room/bathroom, delicious hearty breakfast. We only stopped in Tissa because we were with our tuktuk (no safari) but the area with the lakes is very nice. As the room is very big, some additional furniture like a chair would be a good idea!"
