"The owners where exceptionally welcoming and hospitally, the locally fresh prepared food was excellent. Beach is very close, but swimming area is half an hour to walk."

"We had one of our best stays in Sri Lanka at the Sunshine Café. The best fresh food and deliciously prepared. The couple that runs the place were extremely helpful and whole hearted. The beach there is spectacular and just a 2 min walk away. The family room was spacious and perfect for us as a couple with two small children"

"We stayed at the sunshine cafe for two nights and had a wonderful time - it ticks all the boxes! It’s in a great location and only a quick 2 minute walk to the most beautiful beach that is so lovely and quiet! The hosts are lovely and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We ate breakfast, lunch & dinner here and it was all SO delicious. The food is so fresh and flavoursome(especially the seafood)as well as being great value. The room was lovely and big with an outdoor kitchen and private terrace area. It was lovely and peaceful and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace and enjoying the view of the beautiful garden. Give this place a go - you won’t regret it! Thank you so much Shantha & family!"

"Bien au calme, loin de l’agitation de Tangalle centre. La mer est à 3 minutes à pied (pas mal de rouleaux). Les 3 logements sont confortables, la maison de vacances est top avec sa grande terrasse. Beaucoup de moustiques, mais il y a des moustiquaires efficaces ! Le restaurant est bon, il faut commander bien à l’avance."

"Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig und ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Strand entfernt, was den Aufenthalt besonders erholsam macht. Besonders gefallen hat uns die coole Outdoor-Kitchen unter einer großen, überdachten Terrasse – ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen (Equipment dafür bekommt man bei Bedarf auf Nachfrage). Die Gastgeber waren äußerst nett und zuvorkommend, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswerter Ort für einen entspannten Urlaub."

"Wir haben uns in diesem außergewöhnlich schönen Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat eine besondere Atmosphäre, ist geschmackvoll ausgestattet und verfügt über eine Außenküche auf der großen Terrasse. Auf dem nur ca. 200 m entfernten schönen Strand waren wir die meiste Zeit für uns allein. Ramani & Shantha sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber. Zudem kochen beide vorzüglich, was auch andere Gäste von auswärts sehr zu schätzen wissen. Was uns ehrlich wundert ist, dass es so preisgünstig ist. Wir können diesen Platz auf jeden Fall empfehlen."
