"I really enjoyed the stay. The view from the property is beautiful and very relaxing. Since it is slightly away from the city, the environment is calm and you don’t hear much vehicle noise, which makes it a great place to chill and unwind. The host was a very cool and friendly guy, helpful and easy to communicate with. Overall, a quiet and comfortable experience."

"We had a fabulous time at Tikiri Latha! The accommodation is just a short distance from the busy Kandy CBD. Close enough to explore via TukTuk but away from all the hustle and noise. The room we had faced straight onto an old tea plantage with lots of green. Jay, the owner, goes above and beyond giving you the best experience you can ask for! We went on a private tour where he showed us some beautiful secret spots around Kandy, organised a personal cooking class to learn traditional Sri Lankan food, and introduced us to his friends and family. We could not have asked for a better time! Thank you for those wonderful memories! Highly recommended!"

"Jay est un hôte exceptionnel, un accueil incroyable. Il est très disponible. Des échanges très riches et très conviviaux. Il propose de partager des séances de yoga. Bon à savoir, l' hôtel est en rénovation mais avec une jolie vue sur la nature et juste assez retiré du brouhaha du centre de Kandy, très accessible en tuk tuk. Le confort est sommaire, vous êtes dans un environnement de partage avant tout mais le bas prix de la nuitée correspond aux services demandés."

"Wir waren 2 Nächte bei Jay in diesem wunderbaren, an den Hang gebauten Haus. Man hat einen tollen Ausblick, von der Stadt ist es erlaufbar und eine teeplantage und bird watching sind direkt in der Nähe. Jay ist ein sehr aufmerksamer, flexibler Gastgeber. Danke auch für die tolle yogastunde und die Ausfahrt mit dem Tuktuk."
"Aktuell nach Erdrutschen und Corona-Pleite noch im Umbau, das Restaurant ist noch nicht wieder offen. Hat uns überhaupt nicht gestärkt, aber vielleicht gut zu wissen."

"Perfect family getaway at Padmi Villa! We travelled to Weligama, Sri Lanka with our teenager in February 2025 and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The second floor was exclusively for our family, and the space was perfect. The location is fantastic, and the host family were invaluable in helping us discover the best local spots. They were incredibly responsive and always willing to help with any questions. The villa is well-equipped, and the kitchen made it easy to prepare our own meals. We were even treated to delicious traditional food on our last day! We highly recommend Padmi Villa to families looking for a comfortable and authentic stay"
