"Absolutely beautiful peaceful serene location. We were there Oct and it was cold. It must be amazing in the summer. Some issues with check-in. I guess it was off-season, because there were no staff. We needed to call and there was a small delay getting things organised. The room is huge, aircon/heater works well. Kitchen has most things you need. Fridge, microwave, utensils, etc Ensuite bathroom is large and shower is hot. It suited us perfectly."

10am check out is a bit early. We would have liked to stay around another few hours.

"A little gem of a hotel in a most beautiful location. The staff give an extremely warm reception, they are super friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the area and what can be done…..if they didn’t know, they knew someone who does. For example, they arranged a night watching the turtles and a guide to walk some local waterfalls. The food was out of this world, fresh and local produce cooked by chefs who’ve been cooking their whole life."

Some of the appliances are tired and therefore unreliable and need updating . The internal phones dont work so if there is a problem you have to call the reception in a building down the hill on your cell which if you are from abroad is an expensive exercise.

"Wonderful friendly staff - Marie-Helene and the rest of the staff made us feel totally at home. Delicious freshly cooked food. Super calm and peaceful in beautiful surroundings - a tonic after Dakar and Saint Louis. Relatively accessible for Saloum Delta which we loved. Great air conditioning. Lovely swimming pool"

Water pressure was low at certain times - pipe being repaired, so perhaps temporary. You'll need a car to get around (we got a taxi for 10.000 - 15.000 CFA each way to Ndangane.)

"very good location uphill, very far from street noise. we enjoyed seaview and city lights at horizon, that fara we could see from the highest small house. we got some hammocks up there and were having fun next to the amazing nature whilst chilling on the balcony, thanks to guys who secured our stay"

toilet facilities were not good, requires immediate update

"Beautiful cottage that I mostly had to myself. There was access to the kitchen, television, and the yard. The host was a lovely man and very kind and helpful. He was also so relaxed about everything. I had the option to use a pool at another hotel as well which was great. I also appreciated the well wishes messages from the host and his staff member when I departed."

"Lovingly furnished, clean accommodation in a family atmosphere with hospitable landlords, good sanitary standards and air conditioning, cozy terrace, very good and plentiful breakfast with fruit and local side dishes, option for dinner with excellent Sri Lankan cuisine which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thierry gave us a tour of the property plus an amazing breakfast which included a whole tasting activity with different jams and chocolate / cheese spreads ! The bed was very comfortable. We loved the jucazzi at night whilst stargazing We enjoyed relaxing in the morning looking out over the view."

Please note if you are walking it is a steep climb back up the hill.

エアコンが料金制。住宅地なので夜の一人歩きは怖いかも。バレッタからバスで20分前後。

"Simple and wonderfully personal. Great little cottage with stunning views of the Atiu forests and genuinely friendly help from the proprietor. Everything worked like it should. Great stay, sad to leave."

Everything was terrific - can't think of much to add!

"Everything. In summer, when the site is full of campers, the view from the cabin would be obscured by tents. But, end of September, when we visited, our view was green lawns sloping down to the river. Lovely."

Booking.com told us it was 7 miles from Vianden. It is not. 22-24 depending which route you choose. We had planned to go the 7 miles back to Vianden for dinner, but 22 winding miles? No.

"初めてのベトナムで、Cat Tien国立公園へ行く目的で3泊4日しました。結論、本当に素敵なロッジで、ここに宿泊して大正解でした。オーナーの方は英語も上手で、みなさんとっても親切でいつも笑顔で接してくれました。ロッジのレストランで食べる手作りの夜ご飯は毎日美味しかったです。手作りの心温まる料理でした！ 午前はカッティエン国立公園でサイクリングやバードウォッチングなどアクティビティをしたあと、午後はこちらのロッジの川沿いにあるハンモックで読書をしたり、自然を満喫しました。 こちらのロッジでカッティエン国立公園でのツアーも予約できます。私たちは3つのツアーに参加しました。①Gibbonを見に行く早朝出発ツアー、②バードウォッチングツアー、③ボートツアー　どれも素晴らしい体験をすることができて、参加することをオススメします！ 次回Cat Tienに行くときも絶対ここを利用したいです！ 素敵な時間をありがとうございました。"

"The position. I was very skeptical due to bad reviews on booking.com but I found a well maintained and peaceful place. I was staying in a superior room, so can’t comment on the standard ones."

Restaurant choice was very limited but food was good

"The room was comfortable, there was a microwave, electric heating and a kettle so we could make our own food. We needed batteries for the air condition (it was cold), they delivered very fast. Thanks!"
