"@mondi_lodge is one of those hidden gems that instantly gives you the real Curaçao feeling. The lodge has a warm Caribbean vibe, surrounded by nature and designed for pure relaxation. The spacious cottages offer plenty of privacy, while the beautiful pool and shared outdoor kitchen create the perfect setting to unwind and connect with others. The atmosphere is laid-back, open, and welcoming — a place where you can truly slow down. Shaded by trees, the entire property stays pleasantly cool, even on sunny days. You’ll wake up to the sounds of tropical birds, spot colorful lizards throughout the grounds, and feel immersed in nature. Mondi Lodge also puts real effort into recycling and sustainability, which adds to the authentic and conscious island experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay that captures the true spirit of Curaçao, this is absolutely a place to book. Highly recommended."

Modi Lodge is quite hidden and set in a remote area. It offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, which can be great if you’re looking to unwind, but it also means that getting around is difficult without your own transportation. Public transport and taxis are limited in that part of Curaçao, so without a car you won’t be able to easily reach beaches, restaurants, shops, or other attractions on the island.

"Very relaxing. The hosts are very attentive and will do anything to make sure you are well looked after."

"This lodge is exceptional. It is well maintained and immaculate as far as the grounds are concerned. There is a nearby waterhole frequented by a range of different animals. The seating area to watch the animals at the watering hole couldn't have been better placed. We didn't have much time in this lodge to fully appreciate all that it had to offer. There was a lively pool and extra treats like foot spas. Unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity to try these out."

The food was exceptional. Unfortunately vegetarians are not given a very imaginative alternative to either meat or fish. I loved the freshness of the ingredients but a more creative option for a non-meat/fish eater would have definitely improved this experience.

"Thank you for a wonderful stay at La Vielle, the setting was stunning, our cottage tranquil and gorgeous, and the staff so friendly and accomodating. We loved walking the trails, visiting the plunge pool with the amazing vista, and the food was excellent. The best place I've stayed in Mauritius."

There was nothing we didn't like it was perfect!

"Nalazi se na savrsenom mestu sa jako lepom plazom. Bungalovi su skromni ali ok. Postoji opcija klime ali mora ranije da se najavi! Hrana je izvrsna, imaju jako zanimljive izlete po ok cenama. Odlazak na kornjace ne treba propustiti!!! Osoblje je sjajno."

シャワーがトイレと一緒で、お湯がぬるま湯だったので、きちんとしたシャワー室があったら、もっと快適に過ごせると思いました。

Check out was stressful No final bill .. sums done a bit of paper with poor explanation.. expectation to pay on cash with US dollars Room was a small hut

"Lodge was great with comfortable room, excellent buffet dining room facility and small swimming pool to cool off in between excursions. The highlights are the 2-3 times daily excursions which really make the high cost absolutely worth it. Our guide, Alfredo, was amazing, bi-lingual, sensitive to the local environment and even played the guitar over dinner and breakfast!"

Only downside really is the fact that there is only 1 included boat time to the lodge and back from Iquitos. We had to pay $180 extra for a personal boat because LatAm airlines brought our flight forward - not the lodge's fault, but something to look out for.

"This experience was amazing being in nature while having a luxurious living space is a rare combination moreover we got to enjoy this wonderfull experience without any bugs this is one off the many positive sides of this compound I really recommend it especially for large groups and kids as the environment is kids friendly with emotional support animals like golden retrievers"

The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, ensuring a warm welcome and attentive service throughout. The lodge itself was impeccably clean, and the pool area provided a perfect spot for relaxation. Additionally, the breakfast served at Top Lodge was simply delicious, and filling. Overall, I highly recommend Top Lodge for its friendly staff, cleanliness, delicious breakfast, reliable Wi-Fi, and inviting pool area."
