Dar Yanis is just a 5-minute walk from Rabat’s medina and the beach. It offers a shared lounge with a flat-screen TV and a library, as well as free mint tea and Moroccan pastries upon arrival. The DAR YANIS riad is located in the heart of the medina, 50 meters from the main artery, Avenue Mohamed V, but quietly nestled in a small dead end; it is 5 minutes from the beach. 200 meters from the riad, guarded public parking lots (5 dhs/hour) are available at the entrance to the medina. The rooms at Dar Yanis have been decorated in a traditional style and feature a Berber carpet. While all include free toiletries in its en suite bathroom, some also provide air conditioning. Traditional bread, pastries and seasonal fruit are just some of the items offered at breakfast. You can also relax on the terrace or on the patio throughout the day and order a hot or soft drink. Private parking is available near the guest house, with an extra cost. Rabat-Sale Airport is 5 km from the property and Arrêt Bab El Had Tram Stop is a 5-minute walk away, which provides links to central Rabat.

"メディナの中ですが、駅からMohammedVの大通りをずっと下り、そのまままっすぐメディナにはいり、そこから横道にはいって５０メートルくらいのところに位置していて、迷いにくいロケーションだと思います。周囲には地元の人が集まる飲食店も多く、多様な食べ物を楽します。スタッフのなかには、日本に何度か来たことがあるかたもいて、少し日本語も話します。良いレストランなども紹介していただきました。朝ご飯も充実しています。パンケーキやクレープやオレンジジュース、お茶、コーヒー、フルーツなどなど盛りだくさんでした。"
"わたしの泊まった部屋は、シャワーの水捌けが少し遅かったです。多くのリヤドがそうですが、エレベーターはないので、たいていはスタッフが手伝ってくれるので問題ないのですが、自分で荷物の上げ下げをする場合は少したいへんです。"

"The Riad was wonderful in every respect. So cosy and charming. We had the room next to the terrace. Great Moroccan decor. Comfortable bed. Good air con. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Such a beautiful place to sit down for a hearty breakfast. Very close to the markets in the old town and not far to walk to the train station. Be mindful that no food is permitted in rooms as mine was thrown out by cleaning staff."

"Beautiful Riad just within the Medina walls and just a few minutes from the hustle & bustle of the media. Amazing staff, especially Nyma who always made sure I had a fresh cup of tea each morning during the amazing breakfast. The location was perfect with only a 12-15 minute walk to the Rabat Ville train station for my day trip to Casablanca. Kasbah Oudaya was only a 10-12 minute walk from Dar Yanis. Hasan Tower was only around 25 minutes away. My room was on the first floor with plent of storage space & a very comfortable bed with a spacious bathroom & shower. I would very very happy to make a return visit to Rabat & Riad Dar Yanis."

The welcome was warm and despite our late booking and check-in we got a really really nice dinner prepared. Also breakfast was served with lots of love for little details. I really liked this place."
