Set in the Marrakech’s medina, Riad Chamali features Moroccan decoration, just a 15-minute walk from Jemaa El Fna Square. "The family room was in the basement essentially and so it was a bit of a maze. Wifi was patchy and rooms weren’t cleaned properly every day. Breakfast was repetitive and not very healthy, all in all"

"This was a lovely find. Very clean and friendly Riad situated near the old palace. It was a good base to get to see some of the city and for trips to the mountains, desert etc. We stayed in July, so right in the height of summer, i.e., 45-degree heat, which was incredibly hot. We needed to book day passes for hotels outside the city that had swimming pools, which helped cool us down. Additionally, the Riad had a small spa on the ground floor and the Hammam massage was amazing!"
