This guest house is set within the old city walls of Tiznit and features a garden with a courtyard terrace and an outdoor pool. "We couldn’t make full use of the lovely outdoor space because of bad weather (not the road’s fault) and the alternative - the indoor dining room - is a little characterless compared to the rest of the building. But this is a small niggle!"

"There are places on earth the adjust a little bit closer to heaven and this is certainly one of them the Riad creates an environment of peace and calm bringing nature light and tranquilly into its carefully designed spaces the service is balanced between attentive and giving you enough space to feel at home a perfect stay in a beautiful part of Morocco We had been cycling through the beautiful wild and remote landscapes of the southern Atlas covering over 750 kilometres arriving tired dusty but energised from the experience we stood outside the narrow lane on the simple old ornate wooden doorway that separates Riyad Janoub from the outside world, as we stepped through this gateway we entered a new world and felt the presence of a place that had been carefully designed and curated to provide quite an exceptional experience a fitting end to an amazing adventure"

"Hidden behind a fairly unassuming door lies the impressive Riad Janoub. The staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The Rooms are spacious and with a nice shower area. Food is very good, the Tagines we had were very tasty (NB oder them about 2 hrs before you want them) - Breakfast was very pleasant."
