Idylle Beach is located off the north-east coast of Madagascar on the island of Sainte Marie. It features a restaurant and lounge bar directly on the seaside. The rooms feature a bed draped with a mosquito net and have a balcony with views of the Indian Ocean. Each air-conditioned room has a flat-screen satellite TV, wardrobe. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes and the bar boasts delicious cocktails. Guests can enjoy the sunset on the pool terrace. The property has a library and free WiFi is available in public areas. The town of Ambodifototra is 210 metres away and an airport shuttle can be arranged upon request at a charge.

"The view from the pool is absolutely stunning! It's in a great location - about 10 minutes walk from the port and the centre of town where you can find the tuk tuks. The staff were very welcoming throughout our stay and breakfast was really good! The staff were also very helpful - when they couldn't serve an early breakfast, they told us where we could go instead. They were also able to provide information for our next destination. AMEX is accepted. We'll be returning!"

"Some things weren't communicated well in the beginning - like having to order breakfast the day before. They were not able to serve an early breakfast to fit with our activities for the day. The wifi doesn't work from the bedroom."

"I love the connection I had with the staff. I love the location and access to the main town. The food was great especially on the hosted "pirate party night". Which they had a live band! Fred the owner is extremely outgoing and helpful and makes you feel comfortable 100% of the way."

"Proximity to the center of the city, the bungalow more than met the expectations we had before arrival. The staff was helpful and kind in assisting us."

"We unfortunately didn't have hot water for 2/3rds of the stay in the shower, and the communications regarding room services weren't entirely clear to us from the provided material."

"Idylle beach est bien situé en ville donc proche de tout service . La piscine vue mer est un plus et rend le cadre encore plus agréable. Le personnel est au petit soins et à l’écoute, répond à nos demandes. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Idylle beach!"

"The best service on the island — where your wishes truly come true. This hotel has everything for comfort and safety. The organization is so well thought out that you can simply relax and enjoy your vacation. An exceptional, pristine stretch of beach — incredibly long and untouched in places. Stunning sunsets and sunrises over breakfast right by the sea. The buggy tour to the natural ocean pool we booked left an unforgettable aftertaste! Sea urchins and other ocean delicacies — absolutely delightful! Thank you! 🌺 The only suggestion — improve a few details in the kitchen. I’ll be happy to return again!"

"The villa is perfect, the location at the beachfront and view on the ocean is amazing. We enjoyed 5 days stay it was great. We ordered breakfasts and dinners to be prepared by the cook who is available to purchase food and cook for the guests. The villa has 24/7 security guard at the property. It worked for us perfectly and I miss it already. The owner is available online to support your wishes and answer questions or help with booking taxi transfer or boat trips."

"We used the hotel as a refuge because we arrived by boat with condor and were totally soaked in water . Waiting to change our flight we extended to 2 nights. The room was big and functional , the bathroom was nice but smelly ( urine and sewage ), even if perfectly clean . The staff went out of their mile to please us, even helping with some issues not concerning the hotel ( specially the manager ). The buffet breakfast was great and food really good . The swimming pool was clean ( even if we didn’t use it). Internet was working even in the rooms. Restaurant is very efficient."
