"My room had poor WiFi due to the location of the router."
"I stayed there for 8 nights. Most things were positive. Breakfast was good and tasty every day - although a bit repetitive. Rooms were large, balcony and terrace available. There is a parking space behind a closed gate. 10 minutes to the beach, 7 minutes to the Super U store (hypermarket), McDonald's and the same for food. The owner was cool, he left the property at night because he lived somewhere else, I was there in 'winter', i.e. in May - 2-3 rooms occupied :) 5 minutes to the motorway by car :) A good base for trips."

"Honestly, for what I paid, this was a full 10. The room was very basic and a little old-fashioned but VERY CLEAN. It had a TV and AC (both working). The sheets and towels were fresh and clean. Water super hot. And Raj is simply very welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, I spent only one night there because I had to leave, but whenever I come back to Mauritius, this will be my choice in the Grande Baie area. Breakfast was really nice :-)"

"The gentleman was lovely at Sunshine Villa. There was a cyclone at the time. Power went out for 10 minutes. He bought up candles straight away. Bought our luggage next day to the resort we had gone to next day. As there were no taxis allowed on road till noon. We walked short distance in morning to resort and he dropped luggage off when vehicles allowed back on road. Big Thankyou"

"La gentillesse et disponibilité des hôtes"
"It's right in the centre of true de Douce. The host is friendly and informative about the area. I had the whole apartment to myself for the ten days so it was great value for money. All the kitchen equipment is there fridge, freezer, and a hob for cooking so I cooked a few nights. There's also a nice balcony to sit out on the evenings and relax."

"Well equipped small appartment, everything was in good condition and clean. There was even a balcony :-). Staff was friendly and everything worked fine although I had booked it at the last minute. It's not far from the main road with some restaurants and shops and from the beach. The surroundings are quiet and good for sleeping well."

"It was a nice quiet place, i liked sitting on the balcony in the evening. It's a bit further from the village center, so a car is a better option. Good for several days stay in the east. However if you want to explore the whole island, everything is a bit far away.The breakfast was really good, every day a huge can of The owner is very friendly, as is the staff. I liked Villa Victoria very much!"
