"Buying food nearby was a bit tricky, however there was a little local shop for basics and with a bit of a walk, the market in Port Mathurin was wonderful and there is a supermarket there too."

"The place is very close to some restaurants and is a 20 minute walk to port mathurin, in which you have more restaurants and stores and also where you can take buses to the rest of the island. The rooms were very clean and it was cleaned everyday. The host was very helpful and always arranged or advised us on transportation via taxi or bus. He even went the extra mile and booked us some snorkeling last minute after the one we had got cancelled, which we really appreciated."
"You can hear dogs barking at night, so if that would be a problem it is best to take hearplugs."

"La gentillesse et disponibilité des hôtes"
"It's right in the centre of true de Douce. The host is friendly and informative about the area. I had the whole apartment to myself for the ten days so it was great value for money. All the kitchen equipment is there fridge, freezer, and a hob for cooking so I cooked a few nights. There's also a nice balcony to sit out on the evenings and relax."

"Well equipped small appartment, everything was in good condition and clean. There was even a balcony :-). Staff was friendly and everything worked fine although I had booked it at the last minute. It's not far from the main road with some restaurants and shops and from the beach. The surroundings are quiet and good for sleeping well."

"It was a nice quiet place, i liked sitting on the balcony in the evening. It's a bit further from the village center, so a car is a better option. Good for several days stay in the east. However if you want to explore the whole island, everything is a bit far away.The breakfast was really good, every day a huge can of The owner is very friendly, as is the staff. I liked Villa Victoria very much!"
