Sunrise Lagoon

"ガファルは一目見た瞬間に恋に落ちました。白いサンゴ礁と砂浜に囲まれた静かな島です。シャイでフレンドリーな地元の人々は質素な暮らしを守り、協力し合って島を驚くほど清潔に保っています。 私が宿泊したゲストハウス「サンライズ・ラグーン」は、ビーチに建つギリシャ風の白塗りのコテージで、目の前には海が広がっています。ドアを開けると、日の出と日の入りを眺められるだけでなく、白い砂浜を白いヤドカリが軽やかに泳ぎ回る姿も見られました。ドアの前には、ココナッツの実をたわわに実らせたヤシの木が並び、広大なエメラルドグリーンの海はまるで楽園のようでした。 ゲストハウスのオーナー、リヤスさんはゲストへの気配りが素晴らしいです。家を常に清潔に保つだけでなく、あらゆるリクエストにも丁寧に対応してくれます。新鮮な地元産の魚とロブスター、そして毎日アイスココナッツをリクエストしたところ、とてもリーズナブルな価格で全ての要望に応えていただき、サンライズラグーンでの10日間は本当に充実した楽しい滞在となりました。リヤスさんのチームが企画したマリンアクティビティにも大変満足しました。サメと泳いだり、砂州でシュノーケリングをしたり、カヤックをしたり、どれも本当に楽しかったです。私は泳げないのですが、リヤスさんのチームのおかげで、これらの水中アドベンチャーを無事に終えることができました。 最後に、空港からガファルまでのスピードボートを手配してくださったリヤスさんに心から感謝申し上げます。「公共のフェリーは3～4時間かかり、スケジュールも都合がつきにくいので、ガファルまでは1時間のスピードボートを選びました。」ガファルから別の島へ向かう際も、リヤスさんはスピードボートのチケットをオンラインで購入し、スムーズに乗船できるよう船の運行状況を追跡してくれたので、多くの時間を節約できました。 もっと有名な島に着いた時、ガアファルがさらに恋しくなりました。そのユニークさ、混雑の少なさ、食事をしている時にハエや蚊に悩まされないこと、そしてきめ細やかな白い砂浜が恋しくなりました。"

"We had a nice stay at Sunrise Lagoon. Riyas is a nice host, you can see and feel that he is trying to make your stay as perfect as possible and he is being available 24/7! Room was very clean with new furniture, with daily cleaning and a free 0,5l water per person. Bed is comfortable and big. Only thing that can be a little bit surprising is that at least two rooms of three have no window, which we didn´t mind in the end, as we were outside for most of the day and this fact absolutely doesn´t change our opinion on staying there, we would choose this accomodation again for sure. Breakfast was nice as there were some food options to choose from with juice and water available. It´s only 2min walk to the tourist beach, which is clean and big enough and right next to the accommodation is a stingray point, which is nice."

"Wonderful beach, we really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, with daily housekeeping. The owner, Riyas, was always in touch and very helpful. We really enjoyed the turtle excursion. We are very happy."

"The guesthouse property is new and clean, with comfortable bed and cozy vibe of dining area. The location is close to foreigner beach (bikini beach) and grocery store. And also a secret spot for Manta seeing. Breakfast is provided, you can also order lunch and dinner and dine right after your back from relaxing on beach, all home made food. The activities are optional and I took reef and shark snorkeling, totally fun and wonderful. With professional GoPro filming to record my wonderful underwater journey! The sandbank visit is also calming to enjoy the wave sounds on the white sand. Riyas has warm contacted me before my arrival and picked me up from the port. There is no much schedule to plan in advance, everything is so chill in Gaafaru. Highly recommended this place in Maldives!"
