Ventana Bay Resort is an eco-friendly property that has certified kiteboard instructors and kiteboard equipment to offer to its guests, plus scuba and snorkeling activities. "Nely was always taking care of us and gave us great recommendations for activities and organizing everything for a wonderful stay. The breakfast is amazing. There is a kitesurfing school that is part of the hotel and my husband was very happy with the trainers. The rooms are clean and cozy our view to the ocean was incredible. We were there at the end of the last year and the 31st December and we enjoyed the starry sky is the most wonderful sky that I have seen. We were feeling at home"

"Brilliant! each unit is independent cottage style, overlooking the stunning Ventana bay with glorious sunsets every day. Kitchen is only open for breakfast on request - it seems we were there in a slower season."
"The only down side is that it is a couple miles of dirt road to actually get to the location - potholes and great amounts of dust have to be navigated any time you come and go from the Lodge."

"The location was right on the beach, with perfect access. The staff was very friendly, and the experience was super hands off. They run off a honor system that was refreshing to use. It really felt like you were out there on your own which we loved. We had the beach view bungalow, great view of the sunrise! The outdoor shower was perfect as we were diving and spearfishing as our main acitivities. They have bikes, kayaks and paddle boards for rent. Just a great place, the manager Toni was so friendly and attentive - he was always available on whats app, though we only texted like 3 times - not sure if this place is for people who need more hand holding, but Toni seems like the guy who is willing to make many situations work, no problem without a solution! Thanks for the great stay! Can't wait to come back."

"This hotel is in the perfect location. It is very close to restaurants, stores and market as well as transportation and beaches. It is in an extremely quiet neighborhood, no barking dogs or roosters. The setup of the building is perfect to create a sanctuary around the pool area."
