"The location was great. The staff on reception were really helpful with giving tourist information. Very helpful when we asked for an extra quilt and towels."
"The stairs are extremely steep as mentioned previously. We managed to deal with it okay, but if you struggle with stairs in general then I would advise against it. There are stairs at the entrance too. Our room was very small, but we were happy with it. I would stay there again and I was very happy overall. Just wanted to mention the above in case of people with disabilities wanting to book."

"I liked the location, great access to the city, metro and tram links. Great place to stay if you know you're going to be out all day and need a cosy place to get back to. The bed was comfy and the staff were welcoming and friendly."
"Our room was at the front of the hotel and there are tramlines right outside so sometimes it was a little noisy but you're in a city so what do you expect!"

The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. The hotel has a young and positive vibe."
"The only small downside is the stairs — they are quite steep, but that’s typical for old Amsterdam buildings, so it’s completely fine. Just keep in mind that it might be a bit hard if you have a large suitcase. The staff kindly offered to help carry our luggage to the room, but we only had a small one, so we didn’t need it."
