Featuring a restaurant with terrace overlooking a small lake, Maashof is 3.5 km from central Venlo. It offers free parking, bicycle rental and modern rooms with free 高速Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Each room has a desk and is decorated in warm colors. All have a private bathroom containing a shower, toilet and hairdryer. An extensive breakfast is served daily and a wide variety of meals are available in the restaurant. All dishes are prepared with seasonal ingredients. Blerick Train Station is 3 km from Maashof and Venlo Train Station is 4.5 km away. Both offer connections to Eindhoven and Utrecht. The Zaarderheiken exit from the A73 motorway is within a 5-minute drive.

"The hotel looks very modern, the breakfast were perfect and delicious. We had a great time enjoying the atmosphere. The rooms are very clean. We would absolutly recommend it."

"The location is perfect if you are staying en route as it’s close to the motorway, but it’s also secluded enough to make it feel quiet and restful with some forest and parks nearby. Good for walking the dog and stretching your legs after a long drive. The flotation tank is also a nice touch. They offer quite a lot if you are looking to have an active stay. The ponds in the garden are always very pretty to look at and the buffet breakfast sets you up for the day."
"I don’t like the tiny towels and the (dog friendly) rooms feel a little bit uncosy. It would also be nice to have bigger cups and a selection of herbal teas in the room. I would like to see some more fresh, healthy food on their dinner menu-nothing like a nice salad when you have been eating sandwiches and crisps in the car all day. They have „healthy bowels“, but I really wasn’t sure about them."

"The room was nice except for inadequate lighting."
"The lighting in the room and in the dining area was totally inadequate! In fact we could not read the menu in the dining room and we even tried to read it using the torch on my mobile phone. We gave up in the end and walked out without ordering anything as we like to see what we are eating! We also hated the DIY lifts (might be an age thing) as not for the first time we managed to get stuck between floors. You have to keep your hand on the button whilst it goes up or down but it doesn’t seem to stop automatically at the right position."
"Everything -topped off by being by a lovely lake - beautiful especially on a warm summer’s evening. Good dinner menu and a great range of choice for breakfast- best mushrooms ever!"
